REFUGE

Join Resound Ensemble for our spring concert, "Refuge” at San Francisco’s Noe Valley Ministry.

Resound has been exploring the idea that music is a constant sanctuary through the full catastrophe of living. Life is often a messy mix of joy, sorrow, and everything in between, and this program looks at how music provides a place to truly express those human emotions. From the chaotic joy of a busy world to the quiet moments where we find the strength to rise up, these songs remind us that if we can sing, we are free.

The music is incredibly varied, ranging from a haunting choral cover of Imogen Heap’s “Hide and Seek” to powerful works that call us to action and hope. We offer this concert as a place to breathe, to feel, and to reconnect.

"Refuge" also includes music by Ivo Antognini, Jennifer Lucy Cook, Rollo Dilworth, Jocelyn Hagen, Sarah Quartel, Jake Runestad, Reginal Wright, and Tracey Wong.
